Larry Erb Obituary
MSGT Larry Erb USAF (Ret.), age 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
Born February 9, 1949 in Beartown PA, he was the son of the late Earl and Cora Landis Erb. Mr. Erb joined the US Air Force on August 2, 1967 and proudly served for 24 years. He retired from the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base in 1991.
Along with his parents, Mr. Erb was predeceased by a sister, Peggy McEllehenn of PA; a stepdaughter, Vickie Elders of Atlanta, GA; and a beloved grandson, Adrian Elders of Conway.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Dorothy "Dot" Walking Erb of Conway; two sons, Thomas Patrick Erb (Amanda) of Epharta, PA and Alan Elders (Ketty) of Conway; one daughter, Heather Rollman (Denny) of Epharta, PA; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four brothers, Glenn Erb (Nancy), Willis "Bill" Erb (Rebecca), Galen Erb (Marge), and David Erb (Marie), all of PA; two sisters, Marion Rhodes (Rod) and Susie Dillick, all of PA; two puppies, Katy and Ariel; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. John Schafer officiating. Burial will follow at State Branch Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
