Violet Mae Harrison

Mrs. Violet Harrison entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior surrounded by the love she so freely gave throughout her life on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. A sweet and caring lady with a loving heart, Violet's life was a beautiful reflection of grace, kindness, and deep devotion to her family and her faith. She was born on May 31, 1948 to parents William Bostic and Blanche Huffman Bostic in White Sulphur Springs, WV.

She was a wonderful wife, a nurturing mother, and a treasured Nana. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured herself wholeheartedly into every moment shared with them. Friends and loved ones will forever cherish the laughter, wisdom, warmth, and precious memories made in her presence.

Violet was an encourager to all who knew her and a true prayer warrior. She loved not only her family but also her church family, serving and supporting others with humility and compassion. She was gracious and deeply appreciative of even the smallest acts of kindness shown to her, always responding with gratitude and a gentle smile.

Though she will be greatly missed, Violet would want all who love her to find comfort in knowing where she is and what she is doing. She is no longer in pain. She is at peace, rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ-the One she loved so dearly and served so faithfully.

Her legacy of faith, love, and encouragement will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Reverend Cleveland Harrison; daughter, Dawn Michelle Harrison (John); granddaughter, Mariah Dawn Lowery; sisters, Debbie Neff (Bob), Nora Shirley (William); niece, Kimberly Shirley (Patrick); great-nephew, Braxton Samuel Parker; and a number of other close nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Violet is predeceased by her parents, William Ernest Bostic and Blanche Violet Huffman; sister, Wanda Jean Bostic; and brother, William Dale Bostic.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Grand Strand Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach. A second memorial service will be held in her home town on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 3:00pm at White Sulphur Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church in West Virginia.
