sporting events together, but cheered loudest for the Razorbacks, Mavericks, and the Texas
Rangers. He will be remembered for his kind heart, hard work ethic, dedication to his family and

His wife, Elizabeth wrote: "I was Larry's wife for almost 27 years. In fact, our anniversary was November 22. We were married in a small chapel at FBC Dallas. It was everything we wanted. We spent the night at the Anatole before heading to Canada. We had many beautiful memories that I will cherish forever of our time in Banff, Alberta, Canada. We were planning to go back for our 30th. We have many other awesome adventures with Wes and Melissa, Bryan and Sonja and Lonnie and Candice. We were finally able to have one, beautiful son. We were close family. Larry was crazy about his boy We didn't really date because Tucker was just such a joy, we took him with us. Larry was a great husband and an incredible father. I prayed at night that we'd go together, or the rapture would come. Either way we'd be together. But God has other plans I was a teacher/administrator until I got too sick to drive and Larry worked for Keurig Dr. Pepper. We loved our jobs and didn't mind the drive. We still made time for family. The last 12 years have been difficult with my health issues, but he stuck by me. He was always there. When I had my open-heart surgery, he was there every time he could. For a time, he worked all day, visited me at the hospital, and still made sure Tuck was taken care of. These past few years we had so many plans for the future. I never had to have any one work on the house. Larry was an incredibly talented and could do it all. In fact, he was a handy man to many in our neighborhood. He was a very peaceful man. He told me one time that you can find at least one thing every day, to smile about. As I try to navigate life w out him, his words of wisdom will be something I cling to. He loves his family so very much. He loved his sisters so very much. They have been such a help and such a comfort for us. He loved his mom and his dad. It's comforting to know he is with her. He was crazy about his beautiful nieces and nephews. He even grew to love my fur babies and he was definitely their favorite. There will never be another Larry Keith Erwin and I am grateful every day that God chose me for his wife."
