Larry Dean Eversole

Larry "Pap" Eversole, 74, of Parksville, formerly of McKinney, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family. Born in London, Kentucky on October 24, 1950, he was the son of the late Estill Eversole and Georgia Wells Eversole.
Larry was a member of Southland Christian Church. He enjoyed farming, traveling, and browsing Facebook Marketplace. Larry's family was everything to him. Pap enjoyed every moment spent with Margaret, Cristal and Scott, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 54 years, Margaret "Nan"; his daughter Cristal Dawn (Scott) Floyd of Danville; brothers: Estill (Phyllis) Eversole, Jr. of Florida and R.J. (Hulda) Eversole of Hazard; sister: Annabelle (Steve) Sego of Stanford; grandchildren: Chelsea (Andrew) Starnes, Hannah (William) Carideo, Emily (Noah McKee) Floyd; Elijah (Livy) Floyd, and Evin Floyd; great-grandchildren: Hudson & Hayden Starnes, Caroline & Charlotte Carideo, Augustus Floyd, and River McKee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Monday, March 31, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with Nathan Head and Rebecca and Greg Hatton officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2025, 5:30-8:30 p.m. and Monday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Starnes, Chelsea Starnes, William Carideo, Hannah Carideo, Eli Floyd, Livy Floyd, Emily Floyd, Noah McKee, and Evin Floyd. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Hatton, Men's Bible study members, Stuart Banks, Ken Parsons, Ron Zaborowsky, Larry Simpkins, Justin Lande, and Kyle Trowbridge.
