Larry T. Finkbeiner

Finkbeiner, Larry T. Kawkawlin, MI Larry T Finkbeiner passed away in his home on Sunday April 9th, 2023, after a long hard-fought battle with prostate cancer. He was born in Bay City Michigan on March 9th, 1947, to the late Irvin and Myrtle (Julian) Finkbeiner. He was married to Nancy Finkbeiner on October 8th, 1966. He was retired from the Saginaw Grey iron where he was a supervisor and worked for 41 years. Larry enjoyed going on many once in a lifetime hunting trip. He loved Steelhead fishing, ice fishing and many other outdoor activities with his grandsons. Larry truly loved his family and friends. He enjoyed watching his grandsons play hockey and baseball. He was an active member of the American legion post 239. He was a member of the foundryman's society, safari club and Fraternal order of the Eagles. He proudly served in the army during the Vietnam war. In addition to his wife Nancy, he is survived by his Daughter Kelly Finkbeiner (Eric Everson) of Chicago, his grandson's Kolin and Chase Finkbeiner and Kendall, Cole and Carson Everson. A great grandson Kristopher Finkbeiner. A sister Dorothy Matin, Sister-in-Law Wanda Finkbeiner, brother-in-law Richard LaPan and many nieces and nephews. Family friend Trina (Jeff) and Avery Hosner. He is proceeded in death by his Son Kris Finkbeiner, Marge (Dick) Hankinson, Darlene Winchell, Donna LaPan, Elmer Finkbeiner, Terri (Ed) Seefeld and Jean Hiscock. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Prince of Peace Parish - St. Anne Campus, Linwood, Michigan with Rev. Fr. Nick Coffaro presiding. The family will welcome friends and family on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 3:00-8:00 pm at the Rivertown Funeral Chapel, Kawkawlin Michigan and on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 10:00 am until the time of service.
