Larry F. Fultz

Larry F. Fultz, 83, of Clyde, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2026. He was born to Frank and Magdalen (Nick) Fultz on July 12, 1942, in Fremont, Ohio. Larry was a generous and humble soul known for his dedication and loyalty to both his family and his community. A proud veteran, Larry served his country in the US Marines Corps. He truly embodied the words Semper Fidelis "Always Faithful".

Larry married Teresa Davis on July 29, 1963 and she preceded him in death on June 24, 2013. After serving his country in the US Marines, he joined the Clyde Police Department. After years of service, he then embarked on a lifetime of entrepreneurship and community involvement. He was the owner and founder of Fultz Hauling (FSI Disposal), co-owned Western Auto with his late wife, Teresa, and is a Hall of Fame coach with the Fremont Wreckers Boxing Club. Larry's industrious spirit and dedication to his community earned him the titles of Clyde Citizen of the Year and Sandusky County Citizen of the Year. Larry was awarded the State of Ohio Governors Pollution Prevention Award for his innovations in Recycling. He was an active member of various organizations, including the Clyde VFW, Clyde Moose, and Clyde Eagles. But beyond his achievements, Larry was a dedicated family man. He relished time spent with his family, especially cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events and school functions.

Larry is survived by his children, Magdalen (Rick) Van Walsen, Audrea (Tom) Albright, AnnMarie (Randy) Miller, Larry "Duke" (Kendra) Fultz; grandchildren, Thomas Kyle Albright, Tyler Albright, Adam (Shelby) Albright, Blake Lawrence (Taylor) Miller, Savannah Marie Miller, Brody (Brittany) Fultz, Frank Fultz and Shaelyn Fultz; 4 great-grandchildren, Lofton "Chuck" Albright, Holden Albright, Ronin Miller and Booker Fultz; sisters, Faye Hunley, Mary Jo (Rich) Ulman and Linda (Larry) Hall; In-laws, Jim Berberick, Queta Davis, Maria Norman, Diane "Gene" Baker, Dora Byers, Jesse (Miki) Davis, Tina Davis, Gregory Davis, Sandra Davis along with numerous nieces, and nephews and his trusty cat, Sal.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Teresa Fultz; parents, Frank and Magdalen Fultz; siblings, Willie (Shirley) Fultz, Joyce (Skip)Wadams, Joanne Berberick, Sandy (Jack) Gurney, and Carole Jean Fultz; in-laws, Herb Hunley, Raymond Davis, Rose Hillenbrand, Joe (Juanita) Davis, Roy Davis, Rebecca Davis, Cecelia (Jim) Ferguson and John Davis.

Visitation will be 4-7pm, Monday, March 16, 2026 at the Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, 218 South Main Street, Clyde, Ohio. Funeral Services will be conducted 11am, Tuesday, March 17, 2026 in the funeral home. Pastor Thad Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in York Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in honor of Larry F. Fultz may be made to the Clyde Fliers Football Foundation.
