He was not merely a friend; he was a devoted confidant and a steadfast presence in the lives of many. Throughout his life, he formed strong relationships and offered a helping hand, no matter the circumstances.

His loving family includes his wife of 59 years Pauline; children the late Randy Greathouse, Cynthia (Robert) Donel, Eva (David) Haverstick; grandchildren the late Randy Greathouse Jr., Shaun (Shauna) Greathouse, Mary (Paul) Knight, Nicholas (Courtney) Donel, Garrett Haverstick, Kevin Haverstick, David Haverstick Jr.; great-grandchildren Lainey Greathouse, Cameron Royer, Weston Royer and Oliver Donel; siblings the late Judy (Alex) Kura, Shirley (Don) Testa, Eula (Chet) Harlin, Loretta (the late Duke) Goodrich, Dale (Cheryl) Greathouse, Tim Greathouse, the late baby Cynthia Greathouse; and a host of other relatives and friends.
