Larry Griffin Obituary

Larry was a devoted member of New Assembly Church and retired from DSSA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Joe Griffin; brothers, Bobby Glen Griffin, Jerry Wayne Griffin, and Terry Griffin; and his nephew, Kelly.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his wife of 54 years, Linda Chinn Griffin of Beaver Dam; one son, Christopher GJ Griffin of Richmond; two brothers, Kent Griffin of Cromwell and Trent Griffin of Beaver Dam; three sisters, Mary Beth Griffin of Beaver Dam, Sandy (Keith) Hohimer of Centertown and Glenda Faye (Jim) Clemons of Bremen; four grandchildren, Memphis Chase Griffin, Bella Jade Griffin, Austin Xavier Griffin and Alexis Lynn Griffin; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Stella) Chinn, Kenneth (Jennifer) Chinn of Pleasant Ridge, Johnny (Donna) Chinn of Owensboro and Jimmy Chinn of Centertown; sisters-in-law, Sheila (Jim) Bullock of Beaver Dam and Kathy Griffin of Evansville and nieces and nephews, Brandon, Jennifer, Glendil, Jeremy, Tara, Joshua, Kasey, Krystal, Jeremy, Jeff, Stephanie, Joshua, Jenny, Bryon, Jeremy, Vincent, Lynnanne, Angie and Brittany Michelle.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Lealin Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Larry's family from 3-7 P.M. on Tuesday and from 9 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
