Larry Wayne Harrell, 60, of Arlington, GA, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 after a short illness. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Arlington, GA, with Rev. Rusty Bradley officiating. The family will visit with friends after the services.
Wayne was born on Tuesday, October 6th, 1964, in Blakely, Georgia, to the late Lewis and Charlotte Harrell. He grew up with a strong sense of family and community, values that he carried with him throughout his life.
A proud veteran, Wayne served his country with honor in the United States Navy. His dedication to service was a testament to his character and commitment to the greater good.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Harrell, who stood by his side through life's many adventures. Wayne was a proud father to David Alan Harrell of Arlington and Chris Ussery of Colquitt. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Christopher Ussery Jr., Laurel Ussery, and Remi West, and was blessed to be a great-grandfather to little Lola Smith.
Wayne is also survived by his siblings, Michael Harrell (Jenny), Daniel Harrell, and Angelet Harrell Cooper (Nick), along with several nieces who held a special place in his heart.
