On Saturday, April 22, 2023, Larry Wayne Hatch, loving husband and dad and papa, passed away at the age of 75. A memorial service will scheduled for 10:30 A.M. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at ChristPoint Methodist Church.
Larry was born on September 26, 1947 in Clovis, NM, TX to JB and Addie Vivian (Snowden) Hatch, and was the oldest of seven. He worked for the State of Texas as a meat inspector for thirty years. On August 24, 1973, he married Dana Louise Bagley. They raised two girls, Jessica and Jesilyn.
Larry was wild about his granddaughters and lit up when he was with them or even talking about them. He loved his dogs, going to the cabin and the tree farm. He also loved cheering at volleyball games for over 50 years, supporting his wife and daughters and enjoying a great meal. He was known for his sweetness and loud, joyful laugh.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, JB, and his mother, Addie Vivian, his father and mother-in-law Wayne and Charlene Bagley and his brother-in-law, Gary Braxton. He is survived by his wife Dana, his children, Jessica (Jeff) Woodard of Colorado, Jesilyn Hatch of Covington, his sisters Rae Bagley, Fae Devenport, Ruth Henson, Cathy Starkey, Ann Hatch brother Harold Hatch, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Larry, everyone you left in this world hates that you are gone but we are happy that you are home free and painless. We will always love and miss you until we can meet again.
