Larry Hatfield, 83, of
Midland, Michigan, passed away on November 17th, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on May 4th, 1942, Larry lived a life marked by faith, service, devotion, and genuine kindness.
Larry proudly served in the United States Army before spending his life working as a dedicated truck driver. He was a true man of God who loved the Lord deeply and carried that love into every part of his life. His greatest joy came from his children and grandchildren, whom he cherished beyond measure.
Known for his good looks, charm, and quick smile, Larry was an exceptional dancer and a lifelong sports lover. He also had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting-so much so that venison was often served at the dinner table. He once attempted to convince his daughter Sarah it was beef, but she never fell for it-and that was about the only time anyone could ever say he wasn't completely truthful.
Larry was an honest, loving, and generous man. He held doors, carried bags, opened car doors, and lived out chivalry in its truest form. He always made sure he looked presentable before leaving the house, never without his comb and cologne. Humble, respectful, and kind to everyone he met, Larry carried himself with a grace and gentleness that left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Larry is survived by his sons, Danny (Angelina) Hatfield, Kevin Hatfield, Mark Hatfield, Roger Hatfield, Erick (Ammie) Bellinger, and Scott (Amy) Baker Young; daughters, Connie Hamilton Hatfield, Sarah (David) Pasko, and Alisha Greene; daughter-in-law, Tricia Greene; brother, Dennis (Chris) Hatfield; sister, Janice Hatfield; sister-in-law Pat Hatfield; grandchildren, Jimmy (Desiree) Hatfield, Ashley Klutts (Jesse) Dillian Hatfield, Tyler Pasko, Sylvia Hatfield, Luke and Tyler Schumacher, Sydney Tally, Dakota, Malachi and Trae Tobias, Whitney, Tiffany, Cheyanne and Anthony Haney, Taylor Bouchard, Cody and Wyatt Greene, Alexandria Wood; great grandchildren - Little Logan Hatfield, Ryleigh, Javier, Rowan, Jensen, and Raelynn Hatfield, Hannah and Jasmine Garza, Aurielle Dustin, Kye Fowler, Bentley and Layla Atwater, and Jaxon Laird.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sons, Mac Hatfield, Josh Greene, and Jason Young; daughters, Crystal Hatfield and Malissa Young; grandchild Logan Hatfield; brother, Ronald Hatfield; and very special niece (who she referred to as her papa) Kari Vaughn Hatfield.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held in the warmer season, and the family will share details once a date is chosen.
Larry will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
