Larry August Hatton, 64, of Bonnie, IL, passed away at 6:05 am March 14, 2026 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born December 28, 1961 in Saint Louis, MO to Leonard Hatton and Janet (Adolphson) Hatton. Larry married Sherry D. (Beal) Hatton on May 14, 1988 in Mt. Vernon, IL.

Larry is survived by his Wife, Sherry D. Hatton of Bonnie, IL; Sons, Justin (Erica) Hatton of Mt.Vernon, IL, Jared (Jade) Hatton of Virginia, IL ; 2 Granddaughters, Rylie Hatton and Kollyns Hatton; Sister, Laurie (Todd) Fowler of Ewing, IL; Niece, Lacey (Mark) Moffitt of Ina, IL, Great Nephew, Ezekiel Moffitt, Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law's, Vickie Beal of Niles, MI, Robert (Ruth) Beal of Marion, IL, Margaret (Benny) Jolly of Dahlgren, IL; Aunt Nadine Adolphson; Several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Larry was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother, Lenny Hatton; Mother and Father in Law, Paul and Charlotte Beal.

Larry enjoyed being with his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a devoted member of St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, gardening, going to his brother in laws tractor pulls and anything outdoors. He enjoyed his time as a Concrete Truck driver for Quad Co and then Beelman Ready Mix. Larry was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt.Vernon, IL and from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at St. Marys Immaculate Conception with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am, with Monsignor David Darin and Deacon Mark Kabat officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, IL. A Law Enforcement walk thru will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Memorials may be made in Larry's honor to St. Mary's Cemetery or St. Mary's Bishop Scholarship Fund or Blood Cancer United.
