Larry “Squeaky” Hayes Age: 81
Of: Dickson, Tennessee Passed Away: Sunday November 16, 2025, at his home in Dickson. Larry was born November 6, 1944, to Shaw and Rosebud Hayes. He loved Peterbilt Trucks and riding horses. He is leaving behind a tapestry of memories woven from laughter, warmth, and an unwavering passion for life. Those who knew Larry would often speak of his infectious spirit and the genuine joy he found in the simplest of pleasures. He was a man who found solace atop a horse, the wind dancing through his hair as he rode across sprawling fields, embracing the freedom that came with each gallop. His love for riding horses was more than a pastime; it was a profound connection to the earth, a communion with nature that brought him peace and exhilaration.
At home, where he ultimately took his last breaths, Larry was surrounded by the love he cultivated throughout his rich life. Visitation: will be 10 – 2 Tuesday November 18, 2025, at the Spann Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: for Larry “Squeaky” Hayes will be conducted 2 pm Tuesday November 18, 2025, from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Wade Davis officiating.
Interment: in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Sylvia, TN
