Larry Richard Holbert, 80, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025. He was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on October 15, 1944, to the late Hoyt and Avanell Holbert. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Chris Holbert.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Luanne Robbins Holbert; sons, Blake (Laura) Holbert, Chuck (Kristin) Holbert; daughter, Connie (Glen) Van Houten; step-daughters, Tishanna McClure, Marissa Chilton Chastain; brothers, Mike Holbert, Mylon (Shari) Holbert; sisters, Sara (Larry) Heath, Rhonda Worley; grandchildren, Corey (Leann) Holbert, Meagan (Devin) White, Dallas Van Houten, Dalton (Brandi) Van Houten, Hunter (Natalie) Holbert, Briggs Holbert, Rand DeFoor; great-grandchildren, Karmen (Jim) Ambler, Riley Holbert, Maggie Holbert, Ella Holbert, Grace Ball, Willow Ball, Oakley Ball; great-great-grandson, Wesley Ambler to arrive in September; nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations be made in Larry’s honor to your favorite charity.

The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Larry Richard Holbert.
