Larry W. Hulen

CARMEL – Larry W. Hulen, age 71, of Carmel, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at The Restoracy of Carmel. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana, on September 2, 1953, to Rex and Joyce (Morris) Hulen, Sr. He worked for Shares for many years. Larry was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Mohawk, Indiana. In the early 70's, he won two ribbons in the Indiana Special Olympics Bowling Tournament. He enjoyed bowling, music, and old western movies. In his spare time, he would be playing games and cards with his sister and niece. He is survived by his siblings, Peggy Bland of Carmel, Rex (Kathy) Hulen of Greenfield, and Terry (Angela) Hulen of New Palestine; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Joyce (Morris) Hulen, Sr.; and great niece, Cherish Bland. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Pastor Stephen Elmer will be officiating. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
