Larry Nathan Raquan Johnson

Larry Nathan Raquan Johnson, affectionately called “Man” was born February 24,1985 to the Late Robin Johnson James and Nathaniel Harris in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

He attended the Elizabeth School System until moving to Roselle Where he attended L.V. Moore Middle School and Abraham Clark High School where he studied and finished his education. In 2023, He attended Atlantic Cape Community College where he received his CNA License and thereafter, worked in Assisted Living.

Larry was Affectionately Known as “Man” or Nathan was a very charismatic person, he was able to captivate a room or grab the attention of everyone that he was around effortlessly. “Man” was Known for being the most talkative one of the group, and would never let you get a word in. If there was something to be said Man was going to say it. Just as everyone knew him for his outgoing personality. He was also known as Loving, overly caring, A Cry Baby, the Fashion Police, and for many he was a walking and talking Diary as he was the keeper of many stories of his friends and loved ones. 

Man loved to cook, Party, shop and do hair. He was known for his fashion sense and his Seafood Boils. Man Loved Spending time with his family, and friends but most importantly his best friend for over 25 yrs Lamont, whom he could almost always be found with. 

If there was something going on rest assure Man was going to know about it and if you were close to him, you could always look for him to say Chileeeeee…followed by his infectious laugh. Nathan had a love for dogs and was especially fond of Children. He took special pride in taking care of his nephews when they were smaller you could always hear him yelling Zay Zay or come here Alsamir.

 Man always talked about his brother Marquis and was proud to hang out with him at anytime. “Man” did not play about his Family Period!

Nathan was united in matrimony to Karl Page after being committed to each other for 24yrs.

Nathan departed this life quietly on Monday, November 14, 2025.

Larry Life will forever be cherished by his Husband Karl Page (North Carolina) Step father Ronald James (Elizabeth NJ) mother in law Robin Page (Greenville NC)8 sisters and 5 brothers,Elsie Johnson of Covington GA, Natasha(Travis) Gomez, of Newark NJ, Shakirra(Ken)Howard, of Willingboro, NJ, Asia Starling- Harris of Charlotte NC, Danielle Petaway of Camden NJ, China Johnson of Elizabeth NJ, Ronaia James of Absecon NJ, Al-Shariq(Tanisha) Petaway of Florence NJ, Marquis Starling- Harris of Levittown PA, Kahlif(Shaunte) James Harlem NY, and Jerrod(Marcia) Starling- Harris of Linden NJ. Twenty - Nine Nieces and Nephews, Four Great Nieces and Three Great Nephews God Parents Jackie & Kevin Johnson, Four God Sisters, Elisha Jasmine, Ebony Johnson and Miya Fish One God Brother Damel Riddick. Two Best Friends, Lamont James and Melissa Coy. Special Friend/Companion Troy Henderson Jr. and a host of family and friend. Nathan was Preceded in death by his Parents Robin Johnson -James, and Nathaniel Harris his grandparents, Geraldine and Robert Johnson, and Bernice and Arthur Harris, A Brother Keyon James and a sister Latonya Johnson.
