Larry Joseph 'Bucky' Kyle, 42, of Clarksburg, passed away suddenly, on Sunday, July 13th, 2025.
Born in Clarksburg on January 10th, 1983, Larry Joe was the youngest son of Larry Charles and Mary Beth McCall Kyle.
Larry Joe married the love of his life, Hannah-Leigh Kyle (nee Aves), on May 21, 2011, and together they built a beautiful, blended family full of laughter, love, and devotion. He was a loving and devoted husband and father through and through-there was nothing he wouldn't do for his beautiful wife Hannah or precious daughter, Israella, whom he completely adored. Larry Joe was also a loving, kind, and protective stepfather to Benjamin and Abbygail Brozenick, who loved him deeply in return.
In addition to his wife and children, Larry Joe is survived by his parents Larry Charles and Mary Beth Kyle; three older brothers, Jonathan, Jeremy (Crystal), and Jeffrey Kyle; four nephews, Jordan, Josiah, Jack, and Jace; one niece, Cassidy; his aunts and uncles, Rod (Charlene) McCall, Rhesa Kennedy, Eva McCall, Linda and Mike Hardman, Connie and Jeff Hamilton, Debbie and Rick Lilly, Minta and Terry Kyle, numerous cousins and their families, and his beloved black German Shepherd and running partner Bear.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles Kyle Jr. and Shirley Kyle, his maternal grandparents, James and Ruth McCall, and his Uncle Ted McCall.
Larry Joe lived his life with a fire that could never be quenched. His love for Jesus was infectious. He was incredibly passionate, driven, and fiercely devoted to his faith, his family, and his calling as a Pastor and Worship Leader. As lead Pastor at Freedom In Christ Church, Larry Joe didn't just preach-he reached! He impacted countless lives, and for many, he was the reason they found hope, purpose, or even chose to keep going. His calling wasn't a job; it was his soul's mission.
Larry Joe was a 2002 graduate of South Harrison High School and wore many hats throughout his life: Pastor, Worship Leader, Musician, Songwriter, Fitness Enthusiast, Sales Associate and District Manager for Star Furniture, for whom he faithfully served for 15 years. But in every role, what shone through was his unwavering spirit. Larry Joe always pursued everything with a spirit of excellence and intention-whether it was providing for his family, preaching the Gospel, leading worship, writing and performing his incredible songs, or even just encouraging a stranger.
Above all, Larry Joe was a man of heart! He loved fiercely, gave generously, and never shied away from the truth. He was a bright light in a dim world, and his absence leaves a space that simply can't be filled.
