Larry Lane Obituary
On the morning of November 19, 2025, Mr. Larry Herbert Lane entered peacefully into eternal rest with our Lord at his home in Brazil, TN. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home, Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 3PM, with visitation beginning at 1PM until service time.
Mr. Lane was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and gardener. He loved a good fish fry, his family, his community, and our Heavenly Father. Mr. Lane retired with 40 years of service with the Department of Transportation for the State of TN as a bridge inspector.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Blankenship; his father, Frank Lane; two sisters, Gail Brown, Tina Crawford; and brother, Rickey Lane.
He is survived by his son, Kevin Lane; granddaughters, Sarah Lane, Kaleigh Ross-Jackson; two great granddaughters, Aliannah Johnson, Souleiah Johnson; grandson, Shaun Jackson; two sisters, Cindy Slaughter, Anne Halford; two brothers, James Lane, Michael Strong; uncle, Charles Clay Lane; and a host of family and friends.
Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Larry Herbert Lane.
