Larry L. Larkins Sr.

Larry Layton Larkins Sr. age 73, quietly passed away at home, on the morning of Thursday, January 5, 2023. Larry was born May 1, 1949 to Douglas and Esther Larkins in Ramona, Oklahoma. He enjoyed going fishing, camping, and hunting with his family. He loved playing and being around his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed wood working and making custom gifts for his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Douglas and Esther (McCormick) Larkins; siblings, Eunice Jordan, Jack Larkins, Wayne Larkins, Douglas Larkins, Stanley C. Larkins, Carmie Daily, and Jacqueline Larkins and son-in-law Richard Rucker. He is survived by his children; Larry Layton (Tiffiny) Larkins Jr, Stanley Warren (Marci) Larkins, and Cheryl Dawn Larkins (Richard Littig); brothers, Kenneth Larkins and twin Gary Larkins; his grandchildren, Joseph, Nicholas, Ryann, Mathew, Corben, Andrew, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth, Mary, Nancy, Thomas, Felisha, Richard, Samantha, Linda, and Douglas, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
His presence in this world will be greatly missed by his children, family and friends. We know he was a believer in Jesus Christ and will be spending eternity with Jesus.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Davis Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in the Roselawn Cemetery.
In lieu of sending flowers please make donations to the Sangre de Cristo Community Care. Their hospice services were excellent and greatly appreciated by the family.
