Larry "Harold" James Larson, age 64, passed away from a heart attack on November 8, 2022, at his home.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 12:00 pm at Ritchay Funeral Home at 1950 12th St. S Wisconsin Rapids, WI, with a burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and from 11:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Harold was born on August 10, 1958, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, the son of Christian and Alice (Rokus) Larson. He attended Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids. He married Anita O'Keefe on April 26, 1985. They had two beautiful daughters, Ashley, and Jennel. Their marriage ended in divorce, but they remained friends.
Harold was a hard and dedicated worker his whole life. Harold loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his children, and especially his grandchildren, AtIna and Bentley. They were the light of his life. Harold loved his mother very much and enjoyed their daily phone calls. Family game nights, playing Trouble and Uno was something he always looked forward to. Harold also loved riding his Harley Davidson and playing Monday night cards with his friends. He also loved playing cribbage with his daughter, Ashley. He was always willing to help anyone out. He had many lifelong friends that he went on many adventures with.
Harold will be greatly missed by his family and friends, including his daughters, Ashley (Kurtis) Tronnier and Jennel Larson. His grandchildren AtIna and Bentley Merk, his mother Alice Larson, brother Chris "Swanee" (Sandi) Larson, sister Cindy Larson; nieces, Christy Johnson, Tiffany Johnson; great-nephews, Dante Johnson, Christian Johnson and cousins. He has also had many lifelong friends that were like family to him.
He is preceded in death by his father Christian Larson, ex-wife Anita Larson, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents.
