Robert Hanneman Obituary
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Kellner. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Parish Cemetery.
Robert was born August 23, 1928, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to John and Edith (Saeger) Hanneman. He graduated from Lincoln High School.
Following high school, he worked for Consolidated Papers as a millwright and for Wisconsin Power and Light Company. He was united in marriage to Laura Ann Dampier on April 23, 1949 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
Robert enjoyed woodworking, NASCAR races, duck and goose hunting, fishing, and, most of all, spending time with his family, especially when everyone gathered together at his home.
Robert is survived by his sons: Don Hanneman, Ron (Debbie) Hanneman, and Rowdy (Kathy) Hanneman all of Wisconsin Rapids; grandchildren: Brad Hanneman of Wisconsin Rapids, Dusty Hanneman of Wisconsin Rapids, Scott (Marc Leyton) Hanneman of Dover Florida, Casey (Steph Pagel) Hanneman of Wisconsin Rapids, Stacey Haring of Plant City, Florida, and Bobbi Sue (Cody Sabatke) Hanneman of Wisconsin Rapids; great grandchildren: Eli, Ariana, Gia, Memphis, Kayden, and Josie; brother, Fritz Hanneman of Wisconsin Rapids; and sister, Ruth Zinda of Wisconsin Rapids.
He is preceded in death by his wife Laura Ann Hanneman; son, Johnny Hanneman; grandson, Kevin Haring; brothers: Arnie, Toby and Jerry; and sisters: Lucille, Lorraine, Hazel, and Marilyn.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to St. Croix Hospice especially Sara and Brenda for their care and compassion.
