Larry Ervin Lenon Jr.

Celebration of Life services for Larry Lenon Jr., 56, of Pryor, will be held on Saturday, March 26 at 10:00 am at Stephens-Key Chapel in Pryor. Pastor Roger Parker will officiate with burial following at Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Services are under the care and direction of Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care in Pryor.
Larry Ervin Lenon Jr. was born on October 23, 1965 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Larry Ervin Lenon Sr. and Edna Mae (Afton) Sims. He passed away on March 22, 2022 at his home in Pryor at the age of 56.
Larry grew up and attended school in Big Rapids, Michigan, graduating from Big Rapids High School in 1983. Larry attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids for a short time, before moving to Pryor, Oklahoma in 1985. He met and married the love of his life, Patricia Melba Weatherholt, after moving to Pryor and the two were married on February 14, 1987. Larry later continued his college education at Rogers State University, while also working full time. He earned his degree in Purchasing and Materials Management in 1998.
Larry worked for Red Devil for several years, then later began his career, and was currently still working, at Berry Global as a Territory Sales Manager.
When he wasn't working, he enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting and golfing. His two children were always involved in sports and he always tried to be at their games when he wasn't traveling with work. He also enjoyed woodworking as a hobby and made several pieces of furniture for their home over the years. Larry was a wonderful son, brother, husband, dad and provider to his family. He was friendly, kind and generous to those he loved. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Patty, of the home; two children, Zack Lenon and fiancé, Blythe of Big Cabin and Jordan Lenon of Pryor; his parents, Larry Lenon Sr. and wife Mary Ann of Mecosta, Michigan and Edna Mae Sims and husband Bob of Pryor; two brothers, Dave Miller and wife Angela of Pryor and Jeff Sims and wife Juliette of Wagoner; three sisters, Melyssa Lenon of Marshall, Michigan, Juliane Schafer and husband Tony of Mecosta, Michigan and Kristen Pontz and husband Chad of Big Rapids, Michigan as well as many other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Marvin and Betty Weatherholt.
