Larry Lyon Obituary
Larry married the love of his life Jessie Lambert September 29, 1973 in Elko, Nevada. They welcomed their first daughter Denise in January of 1970 then their second daughter Deena in March of 1973. Larry and Jessie made their home in Shelley and have remained there all these years.
Larry's pride was in his lawn and garden. He spent many hours watering, weeding and taking care of it. Every year he grew the best vegetables including a 3 lb Walla Walla Onion, he was proud of it.
Larry never let anything get him down, even when it came to the last few days of his life.
His legacy will live on through his daughters Denise (Jay) Leonardson and Deena (Darren) Cates. his Stepchildren, Shannon and Troy, that he cared for as his own. He has 5 Grandchildren: Tamara (Andrew) Priest, Scott Leonardson, Randy (Krystal) Leonardson, Shalae (Jared) Barker, Cody Nixon. Followed by 6 Great Grandchildren. His siblings, Alan Lyon, Max Lyon, David Lyon and Larae Ball.
He was proceeded by his parents and his siblings Norman Lyon, Dennis Lyon, Darrel Lyon and Emma Moesser.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 27, 2022 at the Goshen Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home.
