Leetonia - Larry A. Macklin, Sr., age 72, of Leetonia, died on Monday, January 5, 2026, at his home in Leetonia.
He was born on June 15, 1953, in Salem, son of the late Eugene and Charlotte Culp Macklin.
Larry had worked as a machinist, he enjoyed spending time at the Leetonia I.T.A.M. Club and the Leetonia Legion and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State Buckeye.
Larry is survived by his son, Larry Macklin, Jr. of Columbiana; daughter, Casey (Rob) Hall of Columbiana; granddaughter, Taylor (Ethan) Thomas of North Lima; two grandsons, Anthony Hall of Columbiana and Trenton Hall of Columbiana and a sister, Colleen (Bill) Heverly of Leetonia.
He was preceded in death by a sister, a Carol Black and a brother, Robert Eugene Macklin.
A private family memorial service will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
