Larry A. Marks age 65 of Dover, PA. was joyously received into the arms of Jesus from his home on Thurs. May 8, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Larry was born on September 12, 1959 in York, PA. to Luther Marks, Jr. and the late Lois (Garner) Marks.
He was a 1977 graduate of York Suburban Sr. High School, in York, PA.
Larry retired after 32 years from Harley Davidson in York as a machinist. He was a member of the Wago Club, the NRA, the Mt. Wolf VFW, the Goldsboro Fireman's Club, and a lifetime member of the Northern York County Fish and Game Club. Larry loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and motorcyclist. He found the most solitude in the woods, on the water, or riding his prized Harley's. Although he wasn't affiliated with any one church; he loved The Lord with all of his heart, and.cherished spending time with his family and friends. He was a kind and generous man with a heart of gold who would do anything for anyone who needed his help. Larry always said he was "just a simple man", and he led a simple life.
He leaves to cherish his memory Daughter: Breanna Flannery (fiancee Matt Dean), and Granddaughters: Willow and Kirra all of Winchester, VA. Sisters: Lori Crouse (husband Jeff), and Lisa Almond (husband Herb) all of York, Nieces: Tawney Hensley (husband Tyler) of York, and Morgan Witmer of Buffalo, NY. Nephews: Ryan Crouse of York, and Lance Witmer (wife Kera) of Etters. Grand Nephews: Jack, Skylar, and Tyson, and many, many dear friends.
