Larry Mayfield Obituary
Larry was born on March 22, 1941, in Williamson, Georgia. His parents, Malvin and Dorothy Quigley Mayfield; his beloved wife, Barbara Golden Mayfield; sister, Louise Maddox; and his brother, Thomas Mayfield, all preceded him in death. Larry was a veteran of the United States Navy and, later in his career, owned Mayfield Motors.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Kenny Tyson, Scott and Heather Mayfield; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Christopher Sanders, Olivia Tyson, Austin Mayfield, Paige Mayfield, and Zachary Mayfield; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Connie Mayfield; sister, Jeanette Bunn; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wayne and Jane Golden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A private family service and burial will follow.
