Larry McClellan was born on December 22, 1956, and went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2026, passing peacefully at home, surrounded by family. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.

Larry was truly the life of the party. He had a quick wit, a contagious laugh, and a love for telling jokes that could lighten any room. He had a special gift for making people feel welcome, seen, and at ease. Whether he was fishing, talking cars, or sharing stories with friends and family, Larry found joy in the simple pleasures of life and in making others smile.

Family meant everything to Larry. He is survived by his devoted wife, Donna McClellan; his daughters, Brandi McClellan and Cherri McClellan; and his cherished grandchildren, Dominick Paige, Joseph Chevar, Kaden Alonzo, Destini Alonzo, and Isaiah Alonzo, each of whom brought him immense pride and happiness.

He is also survived by his siblings, Charles Franek, Deborah Perkins, Kathryn Garcia, Charlene Perry, Tammy Franek, Joe Don McClellan, and Jack McClellan, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Jean (Jeannie); his mother, Betty Lou Franek; her husband, Richard Franek; and his father, JD McClellan.

Larry was a man of faith who trusted in God’s promises. While our hearts grieve his passing, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace, reunited with loved ones, and celebrating eternal life in Heaven. We imagine him there with the same joy and humor he shared on earth, likely telling jokes and making Heaven laugh a little louder.

Larry’s legacy is one of laughter, love, faith, and connection. He leaves behind countless memories, stories, and smiles that will live on through his family and all who were blessed to know him. Until we meet again, his love remains forever in our hearts.
