Larry was a driving force when I met him at NAS GLENVIEW in the late 70s. A true Gentleman, Leader and an OUTSTANDING MARINE. SEE YOU AT THE GATES MGYSGT!

Larry & I had many adventures together, as Larry would say. We met when we were both E-4 Corporals & have been friends ever since. In 2008 , we took my 1955 Chev on a road trip of route 66.
We saw many of interesting things and places on the old road. Once in a while, wife Lila and I would stop in My. Pleasant Iowa and have lunch with Larry. I spoke with him about two weeks ago. He never liked to say good bye because that was final according to him. When I spoke to him last in said good bye , it won't be long. Larry was the most squared Away Marine I ever knew.
God Bless you MGySgt and Semper FI
