Larry Meeks Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boren-Conner Funeral Home - Bullard on Dec. 16, 2025.
Larry "Scott" Meeks, 43, of Bullard, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior December 15, 2025, after a very long battle with cancer. He was born on June 26, 1982, in Dallas, Texas to Glenda Meeks.

At the age of six weeks, he moved to Bullard, Texas and grew up and went to Bullard Schools. He had many passions including swords, knives, guns, cooking, guitars, and was most passionate about helping people. Scott was extremely smart and self-taught. He used YouTube and other internet variations of life. He loved to work on old Ford trucks and any other cars that came his way.

Scott became a Godly man and turned his trust to the Lord and today we know he is standing side by side with God himself. He was a best friend, amazing son, and brother, and a bother to those who never had one. He will always be remembered and loved very much.

Survivors include his mother, Glenda Jean Meeks of Flint, Texas; one brother, Joshua Meeks of Batesville, Arkansas; grandfather, Larry Gene Meeks of Bullard, Texas; aunt and uncle, Laura and Eddie Collum of Flint, Texas; aunt and uncle, Dale and Lisa Meeks of Jacksonville, Texas; one niece, Isis Meeks of Batesville, Arkansas; one nephew, Griffin Meeks of Batesville, Arkansas, and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Margie Ann (Brown) Meeks; great uncles, Terry Don Meeks, Billy Joe Meeks, and Johnny Lee Brown; aunt, Sherry Meeks, aunt, Mildred Meeks, and one cousin, Cody Lee Moody.

A graveside viewing will be held Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 1:30pm until the service at 2:00pm at Bullard Cemetery.
