Also surviving are his 5 children, Kimberly (Bill) Cameron of Lewistown, Lori (Patrick) Mammer of Delavan, Sherri Mendenhall of Springfield, Jeanne (Paul) Talley of East Peoria, and Julie Ellis of Creve Coeur; 3 siblings, Stanley (Mary) Mendenhall of Germantown Hills, Marilou (Baxter) Fite of Peoria, and Allen (Michelle) Mendenhall of Hanna City; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and 2 grandchildren.
Larry did screen printing at Harco Screen Graphics in Peoria. He loved to do woodworking and crafts.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private inurnment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Gary Deiters Funeral Home & Cremation Services of East Peoria is assisting the family.
Memorials may be made to Central Illinois Autism Association. Online condolences may be left at www.GaryDietersFH.com.
