Larry Dean Moad

Larry Dean Moad, 75, of Harrisburg, IL died Saturday December 23, 2023 at 3:40 am at his residence. Graveside services will be held Thursday December 28, 2023 at 11 am at Reids Chapel Cemetery near Stonefort, IL. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Reverend Randy Stillwell will officiate.
He was born on August 24, 1948 in Jefferson City, Missouri to the late Bonnie (Moad) Hobbs.
He married the former Brenda Hutchison on August 21, 1994 and she survives.
Larry worked many jobs, including custodial, maintenance and tree trimming. He loved fishing, camping, hunting and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. he loved our Savior Jesus Christ and would encourage you to get to know him.
He is survived by his wife: Brenda Moad of Harrisburg, IL; father to Amber (Timothy) Ellis of Missouri and Cindy Alvis; Bonus father to Tina (Mark) Dunn of Harrisburg, IL and Sherry (Chris) Taylor of Eldorado, IL and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in dearth by his mother: Bonnie Hobbs; sister: Debbie Branson; 2 brothers: Bobby Moad and Doyle Moad; half-brother: Fred Hobbs; special uncle: Gary Moad and granddaughter: Heather Mitchell.
He will be missed by many.
