Larry Keith Moss, born on November 13, 1950, in Union, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, at Alamance Regional Medical Center, after several months of failing health. He will be remembered fondly by his family and friends for his kindness, dedication, and zest for life.

Larry enjoyed a fulfilling career as a route driver for several years with Rental Towel and Uniform, G&K and later retired from Cintas Corporation. His work ethic and commitment to service were exemplary, leaving a legacy that many admired.

A devoted member of Lamb's Chapel Church, Larry actively participated in community life. His passion for helping others was evident through his volunteer work with the Boy Scouts of America and his involvement in SOAR of Burlington Parks and Recreation. Larry embraced life with enthusiasm; he enjoyed trips to Holden Beach, fishing, playing golf, reading, and had a particular fondness for eating candy, which brought him great joy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diane Skenes Moss; his son, Matthew "Matt" Moss; his sister, Linda Lee; and his brother, Ed Vess. Additionally, he leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish their memories of him. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Hobson Moss and Kathleen Norris Moss, who instilled in him the values he carried throughout his life.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 19, 2026 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by his cousin, Rev. Jerry Warren. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 10:45 AM Monday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Larry's life was a testament to love, service, and dedication, and he will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a community organization that helps improve the lives of others, as Larry always did.
