Larry enjoyed a fulfilling career as a route driver for several years with Rental Towel and Uniform, G&K and later retired from Cintas Corporation. His work ethic and commitment to service were exemplary, leaving a legacy that many admired.
A devoted member of Lamb's Chapel Church, Larry actively participated in community life. His passion for helping others was evident through his volunteer work with the Boy Scouts of America and his involvement in SOAR of Burlington Parks and Recreation. Larry embraced life with enthusiasm; he enjoyed trips to Holden Beach, fishing, playing golf, reading, and had a particular fondness for eating candy, which brought him great joy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diane Skenes Moss; his son, Matthew "Matt" Moss; his sister, Linda Lee; and his brother, Ed Vess. Additionally, he leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish their memories of him. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 10:45 AM Monday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
