Larry J. Moyer, age 79 of Watkins, MN died on Monday January 26, 2026 at Lakeside Generations in Dassel, MN. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:30 – 4:30 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the Forest City Threshers Dining Hall.
Larry was born on December 19, 1946 in Litchfield, MN to Calvin and Hazel (Pennertz) Moyer. He received his education at the Forest Prairie Country School and Litchfield High School. He served in the Navy during Vietnam in the MCB Unit #10. Larry was a heavy equipment operator for the 49ers Union and an over-the-road trucker. He enjoyed fishing, working in the garage, visiting with family, friends and neighbors and spending time with his grandchildren. He was known to appreciate his Pepsi and Folgers coffee; and was always available and willing to help anyone however he could.
He is survived by his children Chris (Sheena) Moyer of Watkins, MN and Mick (Heather) Moyer of Willmar, MN; and his grandchildren Ayla, Julia, Otto and Oliver. He was preceded in death by his parents Calvin and Hazel; and his brothers Thomas and Donald.
