Larry Murphy passed away on September 15, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on February 21, 1942 in Thornton, Texas to Frank Murphy and Helen Truitt Murphy. Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Murphy. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Norma Payne Murphy; sons, Steve Murphy (April), Brian Murphy (Courtney); grandchildren, Jessica, Emma, Morgen, Hannah, Khyi, Merritt and Brodie.
Greatly appreciated is the tender care taken by the staff at Arden Courts
Memory Care and the dedicated care of Hospice nurse Lupe Alonzo.
Together they made a difficult time easier.
SERVICES
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 12:00pm at the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park North.
