Larry Nutting Obituary
Larry married Mary Ellen Hain on June 14, 1959. They were blessed with four children: Robin (Mike) Edgar, Scott (Kim) Nutting, Brett (Mary Beth) Nutting, Stuart (Megan) Nutting.
They have 11 grandchildren: Jaime (Curt), Erica (Pete), Nicole (Dustin), Andrea (Joe), Spencer (Cortney), Abigail (Jasper), Isabel (Parker), Grace (James), Elliot, Henry, George and 8 great-grandchildren: Olivia, Preston, Nora, Graham, Austin, Alek, Brevick, and Bennett.
Preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Martha Nutting.
Funeral Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 12pm at Sorenson-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin, MN. Visitation one-hour prior to service at 11am.
Condolences can be sent to Mary Nutting at 5300 Woodhill Road, Apt 105, Minnetonka, MN 55345.
For those that had the privilege to meet and get to know Larry we know they experienced a kindness that made them feel like they were the most important person in the room at that moment. Not only by his words and actions, but through those kind eyes that God blessed him with. His genuine love for people and mankind was a gift he was given and enjoyed by those that got to be a part of his life. Please know that the family is thankful for the life he was blessed with and that passing him off to sit with Jesus brings us great comfort as we face the days ahead. Larry would want us to thank all of you for allowing him to be a part of your lives and he cherished the times he got to spend with each of you.
