Larry Joe Osborn

A private family memorial is pending for Larry Joe Osborn, 85, of Rusk and formerly of Big Spring, Texas will be held later. Mr Osborn passed away Wednesday, June 28, in Rusk. He was born September 15, 1937 in Big Spring, Texas to Joseph Clyde Osborn and Olive Gertrude Munden Osborn. Mr. Osborn lived all his life in Big Spring and was a member of the 14th Street Church of Christ. He had retired from Sid Richardson Carbon Plant where he worked as an electrician. Mr. Osborn loved hunting, fishing, precision rifles and reloading ammo. He loved automobile restoration and was a welder and machinist. Mr. Osborn was preceded in death by wife Judy Lynn Stocks Osborn, sister Judy Faye Murphy as well as two infant sisters. He is survived by daughters Lindy Clayton of Alto and Brenda Owens of Grapeland, son Mike Osborn of Alto, 17 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
