Larry D. Querry, 75, of Bainbridge passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Born in Roaring Spring, he was the son of the late Doyle and Eva Coy Querry. He was the loving husband of Connie E. Bailey Querry and they would have observed their 58th wedding anniversary this June. Larry retired as a truck driver for Jag Trux, Lancaster and previously for Armstrong World Industries, Marietta. His interests included hunting, fishing, coin collecting and he loved to spend time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Cherri (Rodney) DeGroat of Elizabethtown and Maggie (Justus) Edgell of Manheim, 8 grandchildren, Amber, Andrew, Katie, Raygen, Brett, Christy, Joshua and Matthew, 16 great grandchildren and two siblings, Joe (Barb) Querry and Judy (Jesse) Fitzkee. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Edgell and a brother, Robert Querry.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Larry’s Funeral Service at Newport Church, 656 West Newport Road, Elm on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 10:30 AM. There will be a viewing at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service and the family will greet friends immediately following the service. Interment in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Larry’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
