Larry D. Reilly, age 62, of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at his home in Huron. His services are pending at this time. Larry Reilly was born on July 31, 1963, in Huron, South Dakota, to Donald and Nadine (Wieland) Reilly. He attended Huron schools and graduated with the class of 1981. Over the years, Larry worked in a variety of roles throughout Huron, including at Dakota Pork, HMMI, Overbuilt, and Asphalt Paving. No matter the job, he was known for his strong work ethic and easygoing nature. Outside of work, Larry had a passion for the open road and the open air. He could often be found tinkering with his classic car, riding his motorcycle, or searching for treasures at auctions. An avid collector of antiques, he had an eye for pieces with character and history. He enjoyed classic movies, spirited games of Big Buck Hunter Pro, and the thrill of pheasant and deer hunting. One of his most treasured adventures was a memorable elk hunting trip to Colorado. Above all, Larry loved his family. Time spent with his grandchildren was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment with them. He is survived by his daughter Joy Locker of Huron; three grandchildren, Eva, Noah and Maiya Shoultz, all of Huron; his brothers Kevin (Artie) Reilly of Wolsey and Kent Reilly of Cheyenne, WY; his sister Debra Clouser of Huron; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
