Larry E. Roberson

Larry E. (Robbie) Roberson, 91, of Tuscumbia AL, passed from this earth on September 21, 2024, after a lifetime of service to his family and his country.
Robbie was born April 15, 1933, in Memphis, TN, to Charles Roberson and Emma Wilkes Roberson. He was a 20-year veteran in the US Navy, serving on many aircraft carriers. His last duty station was in Millington, TN as an instructor. After 20 years of travel with the Navy, Robbie was proud to settle down in Millington, where he opened a Bicycle Shop and continued to serve the community. He then called Paris, TN home for thirteen years, before ultimately returning to his childhood home in Alabama. He was loved and respected by everyone who met him and enjoyed doing anything big or small for family, friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Emma; son Larry Roberson, Jr.; stepdaughter, Lisa Price and eight sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Rita Robbins Roberson; three daughters-- Nita Hosman, Sandra Gail Humphrey (Bob), Gina Roberson (Ed), Stepson Greg Price (Paula), many Grands, Great grands, nephews and his favorite nieces.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
