Larry Don Robinson, 67, of Bastrop, Louisiana, passed away on December 23, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana. He was born on August 14, 1958, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the late Vernell and Margarite Robinson.

Larry is survived by his beloved son, Jason Robinson; daughter-in-law, Claudine Robinson; and three cherished grandchildren, Haley, Wyatt, and Caroline Robinson, all of Covington, Louisiana. He is also survived by his brother, David Robinson, and wife, Jan, of Raleigh, North Carolina; cousin Renee Robinson Naff, lifelong neighbors and best friends, Johnny Cherry and Jamela Dove, along with many loving friends and extended family members.

Larry was a graduate of Chamberlain-Hunt Academy in Port Gibson, Mississippi, and later attended Northeastern University in Monroe, Louisiana. He spent over twenty years working in restaurant management, where he made strong connections with employees and other associates.

Larry had a deep love for the history of his hometown and was extremely knowledgeable about Bastrop and its past. He was also a true car enthusiast, enjoying classic cars and sharing that passion with others. Larry will be remembered for his stories, his interests, and the relationships he made throughout his life. Visitation will be held at Golden Funeral Home in Bastrop, Louisiana, on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service to follow immediately afterward. Interment will take place at Portland, Arkansas Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
