Larry Rousseau Obituary
A visitation will be held in his honor on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Houma, Louisiana from 9:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. The burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Houma, Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife, Mona Rousseau; sons, Rory (Angela) Rousseau and Jamie (Holly) Rousseau; grandchildren, Jake (Crystal) Rousseau, Mackenzie (Austin) Rouseau, and Meg Rousseau; great-grandchildren, Ellyana, Allyx, Charli, Bekhem, Marley, Layla, Hayes, and James; sisters, Barbara Rousseau Elliot and Kathleen (Pat) Rousseau LeBoeuf; and brother-in-law, Wilson LeBoeuf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Rousseau and Beaulah Matherne Rousseau; sisters, Janie (Ray) Rousseau Maronge, Corrine Rousseau, Maude Raye Rousseau LeBoeuf; brother-in-law, James Elliot; and grandson, Dylan Rousseau.
Larry was a Navy Seaman from 1962 to 1965 before starting a career in the oil field for 40 plus years. He loved going to the camp in Cocodrie, fishing, sudoku, reading, and supporting his grandchildren through all their endeavors.
The family would like to especially thank Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and Haydel Memorial Hospice Staff for their care and compassion.
