Larry Albert Sessums, born on March 24, 1954, in Leachville, Arkansas, passed away on April 4, 2025, in his beloved home of Paragould, Arkansas. He was 71 years old.
A proud graduate of Southland High School in Cardwell, Missouri, Larry dedicated himself to his craft as a fabricator at Utility Trailer, where he was known for his commitment to quality and his strong work ethic. Throughout his life, Larry was a devoted family man, cherishing every moment spent with his spouse, Diane Sessums, and their children-Nicole (Bradley) Massey, Teddy Scroggins, Lea Sessums, and Heather Emmons and her partner Anton "Tony" Passard. He is also survived by his beloved siblings: sisters Jean Rowell, Shirley Branum, Debbie Clark, Connie Passmore, Regina Sessums, Pam Sessums and brothers Jerry, Eddie, Butch, and Ben Sessums.
Larry had a zest for life that was reflected in the simple pleasures he enjoyed. He loved gathering with family and friends around bonfires, sharing laughter and stories while sipping refreshments in the company of his loved ones. He found peace and joy in nature, often spending weekends fishing and relishing the tranquility of the outdoors. Larry took immense pride in his Bad Boy mower, relishing the time he spent maintaining his yard and garden and creating a welcoming home for his family.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Everette Sessums; mother, Martha Sessums; daughter, Crystal Scroggins; brothers, Roy Sessums and Morris Sessums; and sisters, Carolyn Shrum and Doris Sessums.
Larry's kindness, humor, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
