Larry Andrew Simpson, age71, passed away at Flagler Hospital on June 22nd with his family by his side. He was born April 12, 1951 in Washington, Georgia to Jack and Margie Simpson. Later that year they moved to St. Augustine where he lived till his passing. He was a hardworking man who started working with his Dad at Jack's Pure Oil Station, then at Jack's Union 76 Station. Later he owned Larry's Union 76 Station all in St. Augustine. He also worked for over 30 years in Green Cove Springs in the tire business. For the last 6 years he worked with his son, Kiley at Kiley's Tire in Green Cove Springs. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Margie Simpson; in law's Sam and Elizabeth Lane; brother-in-law Sammy Lane; sister-in-law Catherine Futch; cousin Gail Carson and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his family whom he loved with all his heart which includes; his wife of 50 years, Lois Lane Simpson of St. Augustine, two children son, Kiley (Tiffany) Simpson of St. Augustine; daughter, Bridget (Carl) Lee of Hastings; six grandchildren, Annalise, Addison and Jack Simpson, Noah, Zoie and Ella Lee; sister, Dianne (Roy) Taylor of Savannah, Georgia; sister-in-law Deresa Lane of Elkton and many special nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 6/28 from 6-9 pm with prayers at 7:00pm at Craig Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at on 10:30am Wednesday 6/29 at San Sebastian Catholic Church where Larry had been a member for over 45 years. Flowers are gratefully accepted or a memorial donation may be made to San Sebastian Catholic Church, 1112 FL16 St. Augustine, Florida 32084
