On the evening of Thursday, June 13, 2024, Larry Wayne Smallwood, 49, unexpectedly entered into rest during which would be his last ride.

Wayne was born on May 15, 1975, in Warner Robins, Georgia and was raised by his beloved granny, Betty P. Wisecup, whom he truly loved. Growing up in Warner Robins, he attended Tabor Middle and Northside High School. He worked many years in production for Aspen Products prior to moving over to Perdue Farms. Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting and video games, but his main joy came from hitting the open road riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Reapers of Roberta Ride Club where he eagerly supported numerous charities and worked tirelessly to give back to his community. Wayne was constantly busy, but he always made time for his family and friends.

His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife of two years, Amy Smallwood; daughter, Danielle Star Cheek of Centerville; stepchildren, Analissa Watson and Dillon Watson of Roberta; parents, Larry J. Smallwood and Rose Marie Brown; aunt, Debbie Smallwood; uncles, Johnny and Ray Smallwood, many other aunts and uncles, and his ride family, Samedi Amerson, Bane Amerson, Gabriel Carter, Pepper Carter, Romeo Belvin and Hush Gulmette.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at McCullough Funeral Home. If you would like to honor and pay tribute to Wayne, please feel free to ride your motorcycle by the funeral home during the ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to a fund benefiting Larry Wayne Smallwood. These gifts can be made payable directly to McCullough Funeral Home with “Larry Smallwood Memorial Fund” written in the memo line.
