Larry N. Smith, born on May 2, 1952, in Waco, Texas, died on February 18, 2024, at his home, in Brenham, Texas. His parents, Noble Sharp and Jamyrta Mae, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gail, his children, Patricia Watson and Brian Smith and Brian's partner, Isaac Munoz. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Nolan and Elizabeth and his sister, Barbara Roberts.
He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1974, with a degree in Animal Science. He spent many happy years, coaching Little League and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He and his wife enjoyed gardening and watching baseball and playing competitive games with the children and grandchildren.
