Mr. Larry Smith was born September 5, 1951 In Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Louis and Louise Smith. He transitioned from this earthly life into eternity on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tennessee.
Larry professed Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was united with Foster Chapel Church.
He received his formal education in the Metropolitan Nashville Davidson County Public School System
and was a 1969 graduate of Cameron High School.
Larry was united in holy matrimony to Natasha Curry on July 17, 2014. This union was blessed with a love and devotion that they cherished for over 10 years.
Larry was employed as a truck driver with the United States Postal Service for 22 years. He was also a master mechanic and was known for fixing any and everybody’s vehicles. He enjoyed helping others and was knowledgeable about all cars. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, golf, and fishing. Larry will be missed by his family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by parents Louis and Louise Smith and a sister.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Natasha; son Kaleb; daughter Alexandria;, brother James L. Smith; sister Anita (Curtis) Rice; nieces Stacey Rice, Alison Davis, Debbie Pearson, Geri Pearson, Cheryl Thomas, Kaymi Butler; nephews Christopher Smith, Curtis Rice Jr, Otis Pearson (Annetta); devoted cousins Casey Frierson, Lauretta Finch-McKissack, Deborah Brown, Jeanetta Green, Gene Green, Tommie Battle, Sandra Rickmen; dear friends Harold Kennedy, Tim Harris, Rico (Denea) Eubanks; numerous other loving family, and friends
