Larry Smith Obituary
Larry was preceded in death by his son, Larry Smith, Jr.; parents, Jim Gilliam, Sr. and Ruth Ogle; and he was raised by Roy and Irene Smith.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristy Bettes (Jeff); grandchildren, William and Christian; siblings, Jim Gilliam, Jr., Linda Ellison and Barbara Baldwin; cousins, Brenda Coile, Judy Cooper, and Terry and Jeff Smith; and special friends Valerie and Doug.
A Call at Convenience will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Bridges Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 PM on Thursday, February 19 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for a 2:00 PM Graveside Service, with military honors provided by East Tennessee Honor Guard.
