Some of my best memories are hanging out with Larry and his family at the river house. All my time spent around Larry was filled with laughter, good conversation, great food and music. I feel truly lucky to have known him. My condolences to the Smithwick family

I worked with Larry a Park Boat Company for many years, he always had faith in me when I didn't. He made me laugh every day. There are so many good memories of him there's not enough time to write them all down. My Prayers go out to the Family

A very special man. Hard to think of Washington without him. He supported me when I was going through a rough patch. Just a couple words, just his opinion. His words of encouragement meant everything to me. Hopefully heaven is a river.

Mr. Smithwick was a wonderful father who raised happy, successful, funny and all around great kids. His kids look up to him and he set a great example. I´m lucky to have befriended his son, and it´s easy to tell Larry was a big part of his life and shaping him into the loving free spirited person he is. Larry lives on through his children and the memories of his family and friends.

Larry, Larry, Larry. You were the funniest person I've ever got the pleasure of meeting. Your smile infectious, your love for family and friends magical, and your kindness inspiring. I will miss your jokes buddy! God gained a great one!
