Larry Eugene Stevens

Larry Eugene Stevens, 79, of Junction City passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Born July 10, 1946, he was the son of the late Eugene and Mary Frances Cannon Stevens. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Simpson Stevens; daughter, Mary Stevens; and brothers: Wayne, Ray, and Garry Stevens.

Larry retired from GTE where he worked as a cable splicer. He loved woodworking and music and played the guitar and organ. He had a great sense of humor. Larry cherished family ties and loved to share memories from the past.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Wanda (Marvin) Welch of Wilmore; son, Larry "Steve" (Lela) Stevens, Jr. of Nicholasville; sisters-in-law, Connie Stevens of Danville, Ann Stevens of Columbia, and Sharon Stevens; grandchildren, Sean Welch and Austin Carpenter; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 10:30 am – 12:30 pm, Thursday, November 13 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:30 pm with Bro. John Kesel officiating. Committal will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens.
