Larry Stotler, 67, of Park Hills and a former resident of Bonne Terre, passed away on August 29, 2025, at Mercy Jefferson in Festus. He was born on March 18, 1958, in Bonne Terre, to Carl Lee Stotler and Patsy Ann (Blunt) Stotler-Clark. Larry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Desloge and a proud member of Carpenters Union Local #1795. He started his career working on the rescue team at Pea Ridge Mine before transitioning to carpentry. For 30 years, he crafted homes and buildings as a skilled union carpenter before enjoying his retirement. Larry had a love for sports, especially for the St. Louis Cardinals. His passion extended to bowling and participating in golf tournaments. A true comedian at heart, he was the life of the party and never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his father Carl Stotler. Larry leaves behind his two children, Jodi Stotler and Dale Stotler; mother, Patsy Ann Clark and husband Jim; siblings, Lee Ann Stotler-Nations and husband Don; Linn Edward Stotler and wife Stacy, Linda Jo Calvird and husband Ron; mother of his children, Kris (Mabery) Lodholz; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive.

A memorial visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church in Desloge, Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the memorial service at 11:30 AM. Reverend Randy Murphy will be officiating. Memorials may be directed to a charity of donor’s choice.
